LTG Infra, the company implementing the Rail Baltica project in Lithuania, in January-February this year. announced five procurements for design and project execution supervision. It is also reminded that the large procurements of construction works and their maintenance of the Rail Baltica project are organized using the dynamic procurement system (DPS).

The DPS works in such a way that during its first stage, a group of procurement participants meeting the qualification requirements is formed, to which any company whose qualifications and submitted documents meet the qualification requirements can enter during the entire duration of the DPS (60 months with the possibility of extension). When there is a need for a specific purchase, companies that have passed the first stage are invited to participate in the second stage – to submit price and quality offers for specific works and contracts. Companies can submit applications throughout the duration of the DPS, but are encouraged to do so immediately, as specific purchases will be made only with qualified suppliers.

“Rail Baltica” is the largest railway infrastructure project in the history of the Baltic States, during the implementation of which an electrified European-gauge double-track railway will be built, connecting Warsaw, Kaunas, Vilnius, Panevėžys, Riga, Pern and Tallinn. The total length of the “Rail Baltica” railway line in the Baltic countries reaches 870 km: in Lithuania – 392 km, in Latvia – 265 km, in Estonia – 213 km.
