On 22nd of August 2024 the members of the Gelpa association attended an annual meeting of the association to elect a new Board of Members, as the term of office of the current one expired on 31st of August 2024.

During the application period from 15th of July 2024 to 8th of August 2024, four applications were received in the form of curricula vitae (CVs) and cover letters, which were made available to the members of the association prior to the meeting. During the meeting, the candidates for the Board – Aldas Rusevičius, Julius Šimkevičius, Eduardas Grinaveckas and Rolandas Zabilevičius – were invited to introduce themselves and to tell more about their work experience and their goals as a member of the Gelpa Board.

The election of the Board members was conducted by secret ballot. Ballot papers were randomly distributed to all voting participants at the meeting, who were asked to cast their votes in a ballot box. After counting the votes, the counting commission announced the results: Aldas Rusevičius, Julius Šimkevičius, Eduardas Grinaveckas and Rolandas Zabilevičius were declared members of the Board of Members of the Association of Railway Service Company “Gelpa”. The President of the association, in accordance with the association’s atatutes, holds the position of Chairman of the Board and is a member of the Gelpa Board. The new Board of Memebers took office on 1st of September 2024.
